haiku in the mist

 I went mist-bathing

this December morning in

the still green graveyard

A little haiku while walking in the rain-not-rain.

"Mist bathing", what a lovely concept! We had frozen fog this morning so I'm relating!

Hi Yvonne! I'm so rarely on blogger anymore. I miss you and hope you are finding strength and inspiration to write during this dismal year.
Mist bathing came to me via the way the Irish talk about that kind of weather. It feels like a gentle facial when you walk in heavy mist, kind of refreshment by Nature. :D

I am again blogging and writing. It helps erase the dismal year. Since it looks like we'll have another brown Christmas I will try to look at misty weather as a gentle facial. I'm glad you are still here, one of my oldest blogging buddies.

It is kind of amazing to realize we started blogging a decade ago!
I'm mostly on Twitter these days, but it's become more political-type comments due to the absurdity of these last years. I really look forward to my social media returning to the arts. Haiku has kept me sane, and now I'm working on a novel in two POVs, one of them in verse. It feeds my artistic side.
I hope you are finding a good artistic outlet, too.
