Lake haiku times three

little boat lost,
the lake gives and takes with ebb
and flow, wind and wave

heron, statue still,
waits, stalking, then flies to more
secluded dining

and there were eagles
Today on the lake. Bald
eagle hunts from land and sky.
Fish heads on the shore.

Hello there, Tricia! I always enjoy your Haiku. The heron is my favorite here. Hope you are well!

Hi, Liza! Thanks for stopping by. I've been so absent from blogging, but I am on Twitter quite a bit. I'm doing fine & hope you are, too.

Lovely haikus and photos, especially the last image of the eagle. I love the off center composition, like he's flying out of the picture.
