hints of spring haiku

a gathering of
juncos dethrones a plump robin
from the budding peach tree

pair of woodpeckers--
female and jaunty-capped male
share the suet feeder

You are a haiku master! I love these. I saw a robin here a week ago, unheard of in Michigan. Knocked up weather.

Hi Yvonne! Thank you! I've become a ghost on my blog, flitting in and out, but I love hearing from old friends here.
The weather sure is a mess. Maybe Mother Nature is planning to take the whole place back from us. Can't say I'd blame her.
