haiku October

those wraiths of fog rise
from the lake, fingers reaching
for the mountaintops

haiku at dawn looking toward Lake Washington and the Cascade range

Gorgeous imagery in your haiku! Interesting to see a surge in blog posts from many of us who were offline in the past.

Thank you, Sarah. It means a lot to have you say that. I love writing haiku.

As for blogging, I flit in and out pretty fast. The what-new-hell-is-it world is consuming so much time.

I can see those fingers reaching. Have you compiled your book of haiku?

I too am happy to see you are still here as I have been absent tending to things less fulfilling than writing.

Just so you know...you inspire Haiku.

Not as easy as some may think.

Oh, Yvonne, thank you! I'm sorry I've been so absent I didn't see and respond to your lovely comments.
Maybe someday I'll do that haiku book...:)
