The Universe and you

The Universe has smiled on Lisa & Laura Roecker. They have a publishing deal for "A Kate Lowry Mystery: THE HAUNTING OF PEMBERLY BROWN," a novel that involves e-mail from ghosts so you know the Universe has its fingerprints all over this baby. LiLa also have themselves a Kindle, which appeared so miraculously as to hint at the Big U again, and as they are generous, highly amusing and probably superstitious, they've decided to give away this Kindle in a contest. Friday the 13th, dear reader, is your last chance to win this unique connection to the Universe. Go check it out!
In other news, I am retreating from view for two days for family things, but don't even begin to think I'm giving up on NaNo. I'm almost half way! That story will just simmer on the back burner and, hopefully, not explode all over the kitchen before I stir the pot again. Bad analogy. I'm all writ out.
Friday morning OOPS: I thought the Kindle contest lasted through today but it ended midnight. Sorry if you missed it, but don't miss out on the fabulous news posted on the LiLa blog. The Universe is doing a happy dance.

All the flavors will magically meld into your story as it waits for you on the back burner.

Now I'll look up Lisa & Laura. I love the idea of e-mail from ghosts. Of course they'd communicate over that strange invisible space.

E-mail from ghosts! Sounds intriguing.

I shall miss you. Unplug week is next week. I'll see you after. Have a sweet weekend. And keep the Nano alive!

MAY THE MUSE BE WITH YOU! :)

Can't wait to read their book when it comes out (and I don't even read YA) Good luck with finishing your novel too!

Tricia, Enjoy your two days! I took a two day break from Nano last week, and I think it helped clear up some plot points. Thanks for this post!

Corey: It does sound like it's going to be a fun read. And thanks for the encouragement.

Davin: I'm actually taking some research materials and stuff with me so I can do some plotting (when no one is looking, ha!)

Ugg. No new Kindle for me then. I missed it. Oh, well. Have fun with your family. And I personally loved the back burner analogy, but then I've been known to have a very corny side, so I might be the best authority on that subject.

I happen to come out of hiding, and you're just going in! Enjoy your time off and congrats on your NaNo success!

Linda: Ha! Thanks. I'm back and did have a wonderful time. Very busy, people-filled days.

Tabitha: I'm very excited to see their book.

Shelli: I'm working it!

Melissa: Isn't it strange when you peek out after going deep in the work. Kind of surreal. Thanks!
