Soft and sweet

That picture looks like Heaven to me.

I'm beyond jealous of that lovely scenery. The leaves are on the ground here and it feels like snow.

Time to hibernate!

Wasn't the rain awesome?! What a treat! I was actually kind of bummed when the sun came out late afternoon.

Is that weird?

Oh, so pretty!

Why, hi, Charlie! Haven't seen you around in awhile. It felt a bit like heaven. :)

Stephanie: I have trouble imagining the kind of winter you experience. Long ago, I lived in a very cold place with snowy, icy months that stretched on, but they were a notch down from yours. Still, there is a breathtaking awe in that sort of cold. I wish you both the awe and lots of warm, hibernating places!

Suzanne: Ha! No, not weird. We have the luxury of love, love, loving rain (except for freeway commutes)

Wen: I got soaked through even with coat and umbrella, but I didn't care. It truly was gorgeous to walk there.

I would LOVE to be walking in the rain right now! Beautiful photo!

GoldenEagle: Me, too. I even have a great raincoat that can batten-down-the-hatches with extra button thingies. I have to remember to dig that out for the season, so I can wander and wander.

Bish: I wish you were here and we could've walked together. :)

Lovely. Wish I had someplace nearby as nice to stroll through.

I love a good walk in the rain - such a great feeling! :)

Kathryn: I wish you did, too! I think that's one of my musts wherever I live that there is a nice walking spot nearby. In the case of this park it was near my mother's.

Jemi: Isn't it wonderful? Excites the senses, I think.

What a beautiful shot--makes me want to head out into the rain with my camera, too!

Marcia: All smiles to hear that. :D

Angela: I hope you do! And wouldn't it be fun if we could go together?

Your haiku is lovely.

Great pic. It's been raining where I am, but it's not a pretty sight.

For me it's been:

showers with filtered sun on trees

forest needles and sprinkled wetness

october gateway to fall yellow-orange

Donna: It was lovely, lovely. :)

Medeia: Thank you, but I'm laughing at your 'not a pretty sight.' I can see it.

Lee: Ah, it sounds like you are having lovely walks, too. :)

Lovely as always.

It's been monsoon type weather here all weekend. Def can't take a rain walk, but it is fascinating to watch from the comfort of my couch while drinking caramel coffee. :)

Karen: Don't blow away! It sounds kind of nice to sit inside with coffee while the wind howls. ;)
