My Earth from here

To celebrate Earth Day, I'm posting photos of my new natural surroundings in Washington. This place is so beautiful I think the pictures speak for themselves and remind me what I'm grateful for. Happy nature to all!
River running from Wallace Falls.
An urban park. Yeah, really.
Cutest little mushroom.
This hunk of driftwood is a prehistoric creature, right?
Crystal clear.
The trees are watching!

I love this planet Earth.
This day. Every day.

That's some piece of driftwood and I love the eyes of the tree. We know they're watching and they communicate with each other. Thanks for reminding me of Earth Day. But I did plant a tree without even realizing it was the right day to do it!!

Yvonne: A new tree, yay! There are a lot of trees around here as opposed to where I used to live. The logs wash up on rocky beaches and make great balance beams and benches.

Liza: How cool that your work will donate trees! The planet needs all it can get these days.
I am loving it here, thank you!

Wendy: Thank you, my friend from afar!

I didn't know it was earth day until last evening. On the other hand I go for long walks everyday on this beautiful piece of northern planet where I live. We are so lucky, you and I, to live where it is magnificent!
