This is what I'm going to do--watch my Buffy DVDs for hours on end. You see, I've been sick and I want to be somewhere I love.
I've been lucky to rarely get colds or flu, but I've caught some bug that has laid me up. I've already watched some Supernatural, Doctor Who and Cowboys and Aliens. All fine, but now I want Sunnydale's demons and angels and witty, kick-butt heroines.
Forgive, please, my lack of presence on blogs and Twitter for a bit. See you soon.
(P.S. I had to come back an edit out a typo. In original post I wrote Sunnyvale. Sigh. My brain's been scrambled, but it's coming slowly back--hence the noticing of the mistake...)

Seems fair and I love me some Buffy.
Feel better soon!
Definitely sounds like a good plan. Hope you feel better soon!
I'm cracking up. My kids are having a "Buffy" marathon this winter break and I'm still catching up on Matt Smith's first season of being the doctor. You'd fit right in at our house. Feel better. Ask for the "good" antibiotics.
I hope Buffy is the cure for all that ails you :-)
we've been watching the entire six seasons of West Wing. don't know what we'll do when we're done (for the second time) Dr. Who? Maybe - I love the doctor and I'm a few seasons behind. It is winter out - time for a little hibernating.see you when you're better and all nice and rested...
I hope you feel better soon!
Good choice! I'd add in Firefly and Fringe and Sanctuary. Hope you feel better soon -take care of yourself :)
Feel better soon! Buffy will help, she's awesome like that :)
Ahhh...the upside of getting sick. Hope you feel better soon, but in the meantime, enjoy your viewing.
When I'm sick, is the one time I can veg out in front of the television. Hope you're better soon!
I hope you feel better soon! I've still got something in my lungs that is just cruddy! Really putting a halt to lots of things I wanted to get done.
Take care of yourself!

Hi, everyone, and thanks for the good wishes and other suggestions. Still sickish.
Buffy is definitely helping my spirits and keeping my brain occupied. Love that show so much.
Sorry about the sick business. Nothing worse than a winter cold . . . unless it's a summer one. But the ones in spring are bad too. Oh hell, they're all wicked, bad things.
Glad Buffy was there to easy you through the sneezy coughy ickiness. Stay well.
Yay for the healing powers of Buffy ...
Hi Tricia! I'm so sorry you've been sick. No fun. I've been having stomach problems, up all night, but it's from stress, not a bug. Am feeling better today. Hope you feel better soon.
I hope the bug is gone. I don't want watch much TV, but when I do it makes me feel better.
More big thanks to you--Lee, Donna, Lynn and Medeia. I'm slowly getting better. I have high hopes for tomorrow.
Feel better soon! I was sick all of Christmas vacation. There are some nasty things going around. At least being sick is the best excuse to curl up with a good book.
Sarah: I'm so sorry you were sick all vacation. :(
I've done lots of DVD watching and book reading. That's the upside.
I do hope you're feeling better by now. Zinc helps to build the immune system, by the way.
